 '>Margaret Laracy\, Psy.D.</p>\n<p><b>Dr. Laracy\,</b> received her doctor
 ate in clinical psychology from the Institute for the Psychological Scienc
 es in 2011. She completed her predoctoral internship through the APA-accre
 dited Chicago Area Christian Training Consortium. She is currently assista
 nt professor at the Institute for the Psychological Sciences. Her scholarl
 y interests include various topics in the relationship between Christian a
 nthropology and clinical psychology. In particular\, she is interested in 
 the role of beauty in mental health and in psychotherapy\, which was the t
 opic of her doctoral dissertation. Dr. Laracy also practices psychology an
 d her clinical interests include individual\, family\, and group psychothe
 rapy\, as well as psychological testing. She is pursuing licensure as a ps
 ychologist in the states of Virginia and Maryland.</p>\n<p><b>PROGRAM</b><
 /p>\n<p>Lectures are held on the first floor of IPS (Classroom II). Light 
 refreshments will be served at 4:30 p.m. followed at 5:00 p.m. by a 45-min
 ute lecture\, 15-minute Q&A\, and ending with a wine and cheese reception.
