Catholic Psychotherapy Association Invites Student Presentations for Fall Conference

Attention IPS students!

The Catholic Psychotherapy Association (CPA) is inviting students to present posters and papers at their pre-conference on Nov. 7, 2013, in Ft. Worth, Texas.

The year’s theme is Restoring The Beauty of the Human Person: Psychological Healing Through the Light of Christ.

The posters and papers will be presented to peers at the pre-conference and then kept on display from Nov. 8-9 for conference participants.

This year’s conference co-chair is IPS alumna Christina Lynch, Psy.D., Director of Psychological Services for St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver, Colorado.  In a recent interview with the Catholic News Agency (CNA), Dr. Lynch discusses the upcoming conference and the  distinct opportunity it provides Catholic therapists.
