The Idea of Human Nature: Roman Catholic Teaching and Its Implications

This project addressed the moral, political and civic dimensions of life as they relate to the Roman Catholic conception of the human person. Internationally renowned scholars were invited to examine the deep and broad intellectual tradition of the Church as it informs a wide range of fields such as philosophy, natural science, law, political theory, psychology, theology, and aesthetics. The conference proceedings resulted in the book titled Human Nature in its Wholeness: A Roman Catholic Perspective, published by Catholic University of America Press, forthcoming, July 2006.
