How to applyPlanning early and keeping your options open are keys to financing your education. The more you know about how financial aid works, the better prepared you will be to pay for your studies at the Institute.
How financial need is determinedThe foundation of the financial aid system is simple: students contribute to the cost of education to the extent they are able. If students cannot contribute the entire amount, financial aid is available to meet the remaining cost.

How to apply for financial aidComplete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available on the Web
(www.fafsa.ed.gov). Use the Institute’s school code G38724.
File your electronic application by March 15th to meet the priority deadline.
Please note:
- Submit your FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1st.
- The Institute uses the federal eligibility formula, based on information from the FAFSA, to determine an award package consisting not only of Federal Student Loans, but also of Institutional Awards, when applicable.
Information about student loansStudent loans are a valuable resource that may be used to meet the cost of education. No student is required to use loans to pay for their education, but many do use loans to pay educational costs over a longer period of time.
