By using or accessing the IPS VPN, you agree to all of the following:

I understand and agree that I must abide by all existing and future Institute (IPS) and Mary S. Thelen Library policies regarding computer, network, and IT Services use.

I expressly acknowledge and agree that all information and materials accessible through the IPS VPN and the IPS Thelen Library’s online resources are subject to the terms, conditions, and license agreements specified by each publisher whose copyrighted content is accessible via the IPS VPN.

Neither IPS nor the IPS Thelen Library own the copyright in the materials accessible through the VPN nor can they grant the user any rights in these materials.  Therefore the user warrants that all materials accessed will be used for non-commercial, personal use and agrees that no materials will be sold; and materials will not be reproduced in violation of copyright law.

I also understand and agree that all user ids and passwords are the property of IPS and shall not be shared, posted, or used by anyone else.

Failure to abide by this agreement and IPS/IPS Thelen Library polices will result in the immediate termination of access to the IPS VPN.

The Windows Cisco VPN Client supports Windows 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, and XP; Linux (Intel); Solaris (UltraSparc 32- and 64-bit); the VISTA Cisco VPN Client supports VISTA only; and the Mac Cisco VPN Client supports Mac computers.

To access the VPN Client software, click on the Download IPS VPN Client Software, above and select the appropriate VPN Client software.   Each Client needs to be downloaded to your computer’s hard drive.  To download the Windows VPN Client you must download two files: click on VPN 1 and then VPN 2.

The VPN Client Download is intended only for the use of authorized IPS Users.

The Cisco VPN Client is property of Cisco Systems, Inc. and is protected by Copyright and Intellectual Property laws of the United States.

Note: If you have difficulties downloading or installing this software contact the Mary S. Thelen Library for a copy of the IPS VPN Client self-extracting file on CD. If you have a dial-up connection as opposed to a DSL or Cable Connection it is recommended that you borrow a copy of the VPN Client Software on CD.
