G. Alexander Ross holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the Ohio State University. During his career, he has held faculty positions in sociology at colleges and universities in Ohio, Michigan, and Florida. Among the courses he teaches at IPS are social psychology and statistics. His research and teaching interests also include human population and the sociology of the family. During the last few years his published work has concentrated on integrating the social sciences with a Catholic understanding of the human person. Dr. Ross and his wife, Martha, have two daughters and are members of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, Florida.
