Dr. Hamel has over 25 years of experience in private practice working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, groups, as well as corporate consultation. His academic portfolio include former positions as Visiting Professor at Fordham University Graduate School of Education (Departments of Counseling Psychology and School Psychology), Field Supervisor at Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, and Director of Psychology for the Optifast Program for Obesity (Somerset Medical Center). He was also Director of Employee Assistance at the GPU-Nuclear Corporation and the Psychological Consultant at Arbor Glen Continuing Care Retirement Community.
