Professor and Senior Scholar Paul Vitz to Address Houston Religion & Mental Health Conference
On Saturday February 7th, Paul Vitz, Ph.D., will participate in a day-long conference titled, Religion, Mental Health, and the Search for Meaning, held at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX.
The morning session will include interfaith panel discussions of clergy members and of psychotherapists, and a lecture on Logotherapy. The afternoon session will explore in detail the process of integrating psychology within the Christian tradition, including clinical and ethical considerations. Dr. Vitz is one of three afternoon speakers; his talk is entitled “Catholic/Christian Foundations for Psychology & Psychotherapy: A Model of Integration.”
