Dear Faculty, Students and Staff:
As I mentioned at the graduation ceremony, it is my pleasure to announce that IPS has reached an agreement with our current landlord, and will be staying here in our Crystal City location at least until the end of the 2015-16 school year. After considering several alternatives and input from faculty, students and staff, I am convinced that this is in the best interests of the Institute.
This location has served us well over the years and we are excited to remain here, close to the metro and the attractions of Washington, DC. Some features of the new lease include additional office space on the fifth floor and renovations to the first floor that will result in more classroom space, an enlarged student lounge and chapel, and an upgraded clinic. Additionally, we will have expanded parking available within a few blocks of the school that will also accommodate our student body.
The renovations will involve some disruption of the first floor during the summer, but it will not interfere with classes and we will do everything possible to minimize the impact. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation as these changes will be of benefit to the entire community once finished.
I am grateful for your input and patience throughout this process.
Have a happy and blessed summer and be assured of my prayers.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Charles Sikorsky, LC

President
