Open House and Interview Sessions
Wondering if IPS is the right place for you? Come and visit us! A personal visit to our campus is the best way to get a feel for IPS, learn more about what makes our program unique, and determine if it’s the place for you.
You can also combine a campus visit with your admission interview (click here for information on application materials and deadlines). Once your application file is complete, the Admissions Department will contact you to schedule the interview. Applicants can also schedule a financial aid consultation.
Interview Sessions and Tours for this fall will be held on Monday and Thursday mornings. The calendar is as follows; see schedule below.
Mondays: May 20*, June 3, June 10, June 24
Thursdays: May 23* *No classes this day.
Schedule for interview sessions: (interviewing students are permitted to observe classes; if you are not interviewing you are welcome to come for everything else).
JUNE SESSIONS:
9:00 – 11:00 Optional class for interviewing students (Marital Psychotherapy)
11:00 Overview and tour
12:05 Mass (optional)
12:35 Lunch w/ IPS students
1:15 IPS History and Mission with Gladys Sweeney, Ph.D., Founding Faculty Member and Academic Dean Emerita
1:45 Interviews begin/Explanation of application process for those not interviewing
(Applicants are free to leave at any time and/or to schedule a financial aid consultation.)
To be interviewed your application file must be complete and approved by the Admissions Committee. Interviewing students are permitted to observe classes; this is also scheduled through the Admissions Office.
